As you enter the hideaway you'll instantly feel at home. Shepherd's View is larger than your average hut, with a free-standing double bed at one end and a cosy sitting area with a warming wood-burner and handy fold down table in the middle. There's also the ensuite shower room and well-equipped kitchen with a double ring electric hob, kettle and toaster. The lovely owners provide fresh eggs from their cute chickens, a wonderful personal touch to your wholesome getaway. If you fancy cooking in nature, light the rustic fire pit and enjoy a wood-fired feast alfresco style! Why not stop by a farm shop and pick up local produce to cook over the flickering flames? Serve with a side of seasonal veg from the owner's gorgeous vegetable, fruit and herb patch which you are welcome to help yourself too.

The secluded patio area is perfect for soaking up the sunshine. Surrounded by raised beds full of beautiful blooms and overlooking rolling countryside, it really is a serene sanctuary. Enjoy golden mornings, coffee in hand as you take a seat on the step and sink into the earthy ambience that surrounds your simply stunning hideaway. As the sun begins to set, soak away your worries in the alfresco tub and unwind with a glass of your favourite. The surrounding farmland bursts into life from spring with an abundance of wildflowers for you to explore and the paddock to the right of the hut is home to some gorgeous sheep. Breakfast and barbecue hampers are also available to pre-order with the owners. Everything is produced on the farm where possible or from a local-award winning butcher.
Eco-features
If you are looking for an eco-friendly hideaway, Shepherd's View is the perfect 'Green' getaway. The surrounding wildflower meadow and native hedging plants have been chosen to attract pollinators and there's also a 'long grass' policy throughout the spring and summer months. For lovers of wildlife, there are bird feeding stations, an insect hotel, hedgehog house and bee feeding station.
Items have been supplied to guests in refillable bottles where possible. All cleaning products have low environmental impact and are supplied by a local plastic free shop, Roots Larder. Guests are encouraged to use pedal power to explore the local area as the owner's kindly offer bikes for you to use.
Where possible, solar panels are used to supply electricity to the hideaway and rainwater is harvested to water the plants on site. Shepherd's View really is the perfect sustainable retreat!

If you wish to venture from your heavenly hideaway, there is plenty of surrounding natural beauty to explore. Just around the corner is Loynton Moss Nature Reserve which boasts a rich, diverse wetland attracting numerous bird species. If you are visiting in spring, you will be greeted with the vibrant colour of bluebells and stitchwort. For more wildlife walks head to Trentham Gardens and discover award-winning scenery, unspoilt woodland and a unique shopping village. Slightly further afield is one of England's finest landscapes, Cannock Chase. With gorgeous woodland, it offers an array of walking and cycling routes.
Located on the stunning Shropshire Union Canal, you will find Norbury Wharf, home to a variety of narrow boats. It is a lovely marina and boatyard, offering boat hire for those who wish to try something new. For independent shops, fine restaurants and charming boutiques take a trip to Eccleshall village or stop off at the gorgeous stately home, Weston Park. After a day full of adventures, you can head back to your romantic hut and enjoy a magical evening under the stars.

Extra Information
There are two other hideaways onsite, The Woodman (5110) and The Potting Shed (5103) . The whole site is called Copper Beech Glamping and is perfectly set up for the dreamiest retreat to nature. All hideaways are positioned in a way that they have plenty of privacy from one another.
Please note all logs for the wood-burner, hot tub and fire pit are generously supplied by the owner as well as charcoal for the barbecue.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.
A non-refundable booking fee of £35.00 is payable per booking.
