Step Inside
The cabin has a lovely open plan living space. There's a snug wood-burner, perfect for snuggling up by after a long winter's walk and delicious pub lunch. Sink into the gorgeous armchairs, set up a board game and enjoy an afternoon in front of the fire. The sumptuous double bed is to the rear of the cabin and ensures a serene night's sleep. The ensuite shower room can be found just behind the bedroom area and is the perfect space to freshen up after a day of adventures. The lovely kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious holiday meals for you and your loved one. Including a double electric hob, toaster, kettle and fridge, as well as an amazing traditional Swiss Raclette Grill. Why not purchase some local cheeses from a farm shop and treat yourself to an indulgent feast, or head into the kitchen garden and help yourself to fruit, vegetables, and herbs and prepare a sensational seasonal dinner? There's also a small oven compartment within the wood-burner, perfect for cooking jacket potatoes. Once dinner is ready, you have the choice of dining inside at the handcrafted table or on a balmy summers eve why not head outside and embrace alfresco living.
Outdoors
As you step out to your private little garden space, the luxuries continue. The wood-fired hot tub is just wonderful for soaking away your worries and there's also a unique barbecue to use, great for cooking in nature. Once you're finished cooking, continue to stoke the fire, snuggle in, and enjoy sharing special stories as you gaze up to the star lit sky.
Eco-features
If you are looking for an eco-friendly hideaway, The Woodsman is the perfect sustainable getaway. The surrounding wildflower meadow and native hedging plants have been chosen to attract pollinators. The site also has a 'long grass' policy throughout the spring and summer months to encourage, bees, butterflies and other insects. For lovers of wildlife, there are bird feeding stations, an insect hotel, hedgehog house and bee feeding station.
The beautiful toiletries have been supplied to guests in refillable bottles where possible. All cleaning products have low environmental impact and are supplied by a local plastic free shop, Roots Larder.
Where possible, solar panels are used to supply electricity to the hideaway and rainwater is harvested to water the plants on site. And finally, guests are encouraged to use the free onsite bikes to explore the local area. The Woodsman really does offer the perfect green getaway.
Explore
If you wish to venture from your cosy cabin, there is plenty of surrounding natural beauty to explore. Just around the corner is Loynton Moss Nature Reserve which boasts a rich, diverse wetland attracting numerous bird species. If you are visiting in spring, you will be greeted with the vibrant array of bluebells and stitchwort. For more wildlife walks head to Trentham Gardens and discover award-winning scenery, unspoilt woodland and a unique shopping village. Slightly further afield is one of England's finest landscapes, Cannock Chase. With magnificent woodland, it offers an array of walking and cycling routes.
Located on the exquisite Shropshire Union Canal, you will find Norbury Wharf, home to a variety of narrow boats. It is a lovely marina and boatyard, offering boat hire for those who wish to try something new. For independent shops, fine restaurants and charming boutiques take a trip to Eccleshall village or stop off at the gorgeous stately home, Weston Park. After a day full of exploring, you can retreat to your bespoke cabin and enjoy an enchanting evening under the stars.

Extra Information
There are two other hideaways onsite, Shepherd's View (5111) and The Potting Shed (5103) .The whole site is called Copper Beech Glamping and is perfectly set up for the dreamiest retreat to nature. All hideaways are positioned in a way that they have plenty of privacy from one another.
Please note all logs for the wood-burner, hot tub and outdoor stove are generously supplied by the owner as well as charcoal for the barbecue.
Breakfast and barbecue hampers are also available to pre-order with the owners. Everything is produced on the farm where possible or from a local-award winning butcher.
Availability, reservations and pricing: £110 - £160 per night
Bed linen and towels are included in the price. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.
A non-refundable booking fee of £35.00 is payable per booking.
