The best of dog friendly glamping holidays

Glamping with dogs means fresh air, endless space in which to roam around and plenty of interesting smells to explore – it’s is a pampered pet’s dream...

Holidays just aren’t the same without our faithful four-legged friends, and since many of our special destinations offer dog friendly glamping, there’s no need to leave them behind when you go on holiday in the UK. Save money on kennels or dog-sitters, and bring your furry friend along for a luxury getaway at one of our cabins, safari tents, huts and wagons, all of them set in wide-open surroundings that will give both you and your pet an unforgettable back-to-nature experience. Just watch those tails wag.

Dog-friendly glamping

It's always good to be prepared before you take your canine chum on holiday, whether for a short break or longer. He or she will need a collar with your contact details, an extendable lead, a comfy bed, food and water bowls, poop bags (obvs) and an old towel or two for drying off after a good walk. Keep a bottle of water and bowl in the car, too, for days out. Speaking of which...one thing that's really great about our destinations in the South West is the huge range of dog-friendly walks, from coastal paths to woodland wanders. Lots of beaches are dog-friendly, too (though it may depend on the time of year) and, of course, once you're all tired out and ready for a break, you're bound to find a welcoming pub in which to relax, and maybe try a pint of the local ale and have a natter with the regulars.

So – whether you’re looking to take Spot away with the whole family or just the two of you, in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset or the Isle of Wight – we’ve got the place for you and your pampered pooch to enjoy a staycation. In fact, half of our portfolio welcome dogs and more dogs than children holidayed with us in 2018 – so we know we’re barking up the right tree when it comes to glamping with dogs!

Sounds good right? Here are some we made earlier but for our whole collection click here.
