Step Inside
You will feel right at home as soon as you enter this lovely shepherd's hut. A real countryside haven, complete with all the little luxuries. The king-size bed is snuggled to the left of the hideaway, adorned with soft linens for a dreamy night's rest. Wake to the sound of birdsong, open up the double doors and allow fresh air to flow freely throughout the hut. Pop the kettle on and enjoy that all important morning brew in bed, looking out towards the surrounding meadow and woodland. The beautifully designed kitchen is superbly equipped with everything you'll need to rustle up some delicious delights. Including an electric cooker, Belfast sink, microwave, fridge and toaster. The wood-burner will keep you cosy for those out of season escapes, whilst the large windows allow the spring sunshine to illuminate the space with ease. You'll find the sleek shower-room to the right of the hideaway, perfect for freshening up after a countryside ramble.
Outdoors
The outside space is a dream come true. Your four legged friend will love roaming the enclosed garden. Be sure to pack a good read, as Lamb's Tale has plenty of peaceful spots to sit and have a few moments to yourself. Soak up the Somerset sun on the grass, dine alfresco or sit on the bench with a G&T and watch the natural world go by. What's more, you'll find the heavenly hot tub secluded behind the hut. As dusk falls, this enchanting abode becomes even more magical. Embrace a moonlit dip with that special someone and let your worries simply fade away… dreamy!
Explore
Nestled on a farm halfway between Tauton and Bridgewater, there is a wealth of walks and plenty of opportunity to see a variety of wildlife right on your doorstep. Head up to the Quantock Hills from Lamb's Tale for incredible vistas of woodland and open moorland. Take a leisurely stroll around the picturesque Headford Reservoir or cycle on one of its many off-road areas - there is even a track right from the farm up into the hills. Why not pack up a picnic and enjoy views across the Bristol Channel to the hills of south Wales and across the Vale of Taunton towards Exmoor National Park in the other direction. Slightly further afield, you will reach Exmoor, embrace its rugged beauty, say hello to the famous ponies or hunker down for a delicious fireside lunch in one of its traditional pubs.
Just 20 minutes away, towards the north Somerset coast, is Klive beach. As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you'll find striking rock formations, sea-smoothed pebbles and even fossils! For a sandy beach, head to Weston-super-Mare or Blue Anchor near Minehead. Be sure to make a day of it and visit Dunster which is a fascinating medieval town, dominated by a National Trust Castle. Or why not take a day trip to Cheddar Gorge for awe-inspiring cliffs, caves and fascinating tales about our prehistoric ancestors. With all of this to explore and more, you will want to return time and time again.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.
