Perfect weekend away with our dog. A couple of other huts close by but the positioning of Isla Rose makes you feel very secluded, with a gorgeous view over fields.
Highly recommend!

Comfortable Bijou accommodation in a very peaceful spot. The hut is small, but the addition of the outside living room with fireball is brilliant. We needed a bit more space and practical hooks, shelves to put our things on. But that’s the only niggle. The bed is very comfortable for a couple of nights.

Isla rose is pretty and secluded (despite a couple of other huts nearby). A bit of road noise but otherwise peaceful. We took extra bunting and solar lights to make it homely.
Take a long dog leash as there no fencing for this property.
We left the bed up and ate under the outside cover but the fire pit was rather smokey…so blankets provided were useful.
Take eye covers for sleeping if you are at all sensitive to flashing bright lights (carbon monoxide detector).
We used our time down there to visit Knepp and loved it there for walks. Also went to the coast and the Weald and Downland Museum.
For a short romantic break an hour away from home it worked. Would also suit an individual looking for some quiet time.

Isla Rose was aa beautiful shepherd hut. The kitchen was well stocked with what you would need to self cater and although a small space it's just enough. The bed was very comfortable which I wasn't expecting for a pull down bed. Everything was lovely and clean. Although relatively close to other shepherds huts Isla Rose has its own special touch and makes you feel somewhat seperated from the others, which my partner and I really enjoyed. It was a magical and romantic stay for us. We saw a Stork while we sat and enjoyed the peace which for us just added to the magic. A lovely stay for anyone who wants a simple but romantic get away with their loved one, lots of lovely places close by to visit and eat at too. We will be coming back.

Could not fault the property at all. So clean and the attention to detail was lovely. Great place to chill and unwind for a couple of days.
