Foxy Loxy is a wonderful, relaxing and away it all location for a holiday in Cornwall. We loved waking up to the stunning views.
The cabin is very clean and cosy and Jo and Brian are very helpful and friendly hosts.
It is a perfect location for a variety of trips out. We really liked Lostwithiel and Restormel Castle. Luxulyan Valley trails, Helman Tor, Fowey and Ready money Cove, Bodmin Moor and the North coast beaches. We look forward to returning

We had a lovely time at foxy loxy. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed for our few days away. Jo was a great host, and checked in on us to make sure we were all set and sorted.
The attention to detail from Jo made the cabin very special, right down to the helpful directions on how to find foxy loxy and all the info and instructions left in the guest book.
I would really recommend foxy loxy if you're looking for somewhere to escape for a few days, but where you also have the option to see some of cornwall. We would love to return again one day!

Foxy Loxy is idyllic. Set in beautiful countryside with a sea view. Sitting on the deck with a cuppa, watching the birds feeding was beyond relaxing. The accommodation is top-notch. Wonderfully clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Jo, our host, is wonderful but unobtrusive. I cannot recommend Foxy Loxy highly enough. Just superb!

Excellent location for a wide variety of activities and eating options within a few miles locally (if you don't mind narrow winding lanes!). So very peaceful, in touch with nature and very well resourced and provided for. The hot tub was a very welcome bonus at the end of a day!

Wow! What a truly beautiful place this is. Foxy Loxy is nestled amongst woodlands and fields with the glorious sound of birdsong. It truly is an idyllic setting. That said it is only a short walk to the village pub The Crown Inn which I visited several times for food and alcoholic beverages! I would highly recommend the ham, egg and chips and the Sunday roast!
The hot tub was a wonderful end to wonderful days on my motorcycle.
Jo the owner was really lovely. The cabin was furnished beautifully and had everything you could need. There is a shed which is shared between the two cabins with a washer and a dryer, gas BBQ’s and even welly boots and socks to borrow…
I am most definitely coming back… I genuinely didn’t want to leave!

My partner and I have stay at many different cabins with hot tubs and this has easily the best stay we've had. You'll find yourself completely secluded from the world. It's privately own so it's on private land with you and one other cabin go getters. However, you can't see one another so privacy is for sure. The location is beautiful with amazing views. Waking up every morning with the birds singing. You'll see bird flying down on the bird feed located just in front of the decking whilst laying on the comfy benches outside. This place is perfectly designed for couples and it's clear that the owners have placed a lot of thought into the place with person touches. It was a wonderful place to ignore the world stresses and simply reconnect with your partner. We had a small problem with no fuel in the fire lighter. However, the owners were very quick at providing us with a replacement within 30 minutes! We will certainly be coming back. It's a unique little treasure.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough, if I could give it 10 stars I would.

Sitting in the hot tub, watching the stars and a barn owl fly past. It doesn’t get better! It’s so quiet and peaceful. The location is just spectacular.

The property was clean, cosy and incredibly well equipped with added little extras which just made all the difference. The hot tub was easy to use.

Lots of lovely local walks and the pub was great, good food and lots of options. Only downside is there isn’t a local bus.

A really lovely and cosy property, with peaceful and rural surroundings. The uninterrupted distant sea views from the hot tub are an added bonus. The property is a perfect rural retreat for 2! Nearby is a wonderful village pub, The Crown Inn, which has delicious food on offer! There is also a small shop in another village, Luxulyan, which is close by too.

First time staying in Cornwall, let me tell you definitely will be a yearly visit. The views when we wake up in the morning were amazing. The hot tub at night time was so relaxing. Just sitting there looking up at the stars. Didn’t see one negative review about staying here and I can see why honestly amazing.

Myself and my partner stayed at Foxy Loxy for 6 nights mid-October and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was always warm, we came to it clean and it is clear that the hosts really put a lot of effort into providing not just a place to stay whilst you explore Cornwall but also a place you want to stay in. Absolutely recommend.

From my husband and I - we would both like to say a big 'thank you' to your team for being so kind and generous with our 'honeymoon' present and card. It is really those little details which made our honeymoon so special. We stayed in all forms of accommodation for our honeymoon but the cabin was by far our favourite stay - we will definitely be returning! Also to add - Jo and her husband were so friendly and approachable - plus offered us their electric bikes which were a godsend and also made our holiday so memorable. The serenity of the woodland was so unique - especially during peak summer season. My highlight was sitting in the hot tub and watching the bats fly around at dusk. It was such a lovely stay we had at Foxy. With very kind hosts in a very personal atmosphere providing an excellent service. We will definitely come back.

What a lovely secluded holiday home uninterrupted views all the way down to the coast . The attention to detail with luxury extras was second to none. Jo the owner has thought if everything.

We absolutely loved our stay, you can see that the owners put so much love and care into the cabin. We would love to come again!

The view is amazing, especially from the jacuzzi. And it is really nice that they have thought of everything, such as a barbecue that you can borrow.

Our 2nd time here and as before perfect. The weather was a lot better in June as opposed to September last year. Jo, was an excellent host as she even offered complimentary tickets for The Crown Inn Beer and Music Festival weekend. We had already booked in advance, she alternatively gave us a bottle local wine instead.
New for this year the accomodation now has an EV charging facilities which should widen the appeal.
Foxy Loxy as always meets a very high standard of accommodation set in a peaceful, tranquil location.
Lanlivery is central to explore the wider Cornish countryside and attractions.
We will be back next year as this is now our goto Cornish holiday accommodation, recommend period.

Well this is a little bit of heaven we have found. Had a wonderful week. Room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Shops not far away found Aldi, Lidl, and Tesco. Pub not far but never went. Deer came to visit us and was great watching all different birds come on feeders. Hot tub great in it every evening. Very private can't see the other cottage from Foxy Loxy. Amazing view from the decking . Will definitely be booking again . Thankyou Jo& Brian you should be really proud of it all ??

A perfect escape from busy modern life and a rare opportunity to connect as a couple away from our small children. Relaxing woodland environment, immersed in the sounds of nature, lots of birds. Lovely 20 minute woodland walk to the local pub where the food was delicious. We would love to return in the future.

Very nice and secluded cabin. Seen and heard lots of wildlife like owls, deer, we think a pine marten but not sure, bunny and lots of birds.
Had a lovely time relaxing. Would come again.

Foxy loxy at Roe Wood was a pleasure to stay in, it was very clean and tidy when we arrived and the hot tub was lovely to sit in watch the views as well as enjoying a glass of wine in tub while watching the sunset and sun rise whilst listening to the birds singing. If you need a break then it is the ideal peaceful place, the only down side is in winter people for the other cabin can see you in the hot tub from their path

This is a very special place. Beautiful, private location. Huge hot tub, which we sat in and watched a meteor shooting across the sky. Just lovely. Cosy, romantic and you feel as if you're away from everything, in the best possible way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Foxy Loxy. We chose a wet November week to visit but always felt warm and cosy in our accommodation. The location was perfect as a base for exploring the area. We also enjoyed walking to the local pub for dinner. Hot tub was much appreciated. A perfect autumn break

Had the greatest weekend, lovely location, beautiful view. Didn’t have the pleasure of meeting the owners, however the Foxy Loxy cabin was amazing and even had little gifts left inside for us. Think we are looking for dates to book again for the future!!:)

Wow what a place!!! We came here for our wedding anniversary week away and it was just what we were looking for.
Beautiful location beautiful cabin and the jacuzzi was bliss.
If you want off the beaten track, privacy and peace then this is for you!!
The hosts were friendly and welcoming and were more than happy to loan us a charger and sort the jacuzzi when we pressed the wrong button!!
We will definitely be coming back here as its just too beautiful not to.

Foxy Loxy Lodge comes very highly recommended. In a beautiful, idyllic, peaceful location but still central to plenty of Cornwalls other beautiful areas to explore.
The lodge has everything you need for a cosy stay whether it rains or shines.

Our stay at Foxy Loxy, this accommodation was excellent set in a peaceful, tranquil setting with far reaching views to the sea. You have total privacy from Squirrel Nutkin and there is no noise except for the local wildlife as you feel at one with nature.

The cabin was very clean, spacious and tidy. The hot tub again was very clean and a welcome addition to our holiday as we made use of it a few times. A functional and well equipped kitchen and decent shower.
The cabin is walking distance via the wood path or the lane to the local pub which again is excellent for food and service. Shame the weather could have been better but the location is very centralised for exploring Cornwall's delights such as The Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

We are so impressed with our stay that we have already booked another week for next June regardless of the weather!

Jo, the owner made us very welcome and she was friendly to speak to about her farm and the holiday accommodation.

Everything we experienced on this break was just perfect. Foxy Loxy was set in an ideal retreat and very relaxing. Our host was a lovely person and was there if we needed anything (which we didn't). The property was very clean and tidy and provided everything we needed for a week's break. It is well located to many local attractions and amenities, with a local farm shop 2 minutes drive away supplying local produce. The pub is a 15 minute stroll through some lovely woodland and serves great food and local beers. We would highly recommend Foxy Loxy or the adjacent property on site.

The peace and tranquility was absolutely amazing with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and view out to the sea was just what we needed. Plenty of space to relax and spend time together as a couple. Nothing was too much for the owner Jo whom made us feel very welcome! Would highly recommend if you’re after some quiet, chill out time.

We spent a lovely week at Foxy Loxy. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, was very clean and tidy and is fitted out to high standard. Lovely outside area with a 2 seater bench for eating at, as well as the round picnic bench. We enjoyed using the hot tub to relax in after a long day out, whilst enjoying the countryside views.

Great location for visiting the local area, such as Fowey, Lanhydrock, Charlestown, Polperro. Camel valley vineyard and the lost gardens of Heligan to name just a few. Visited the local pub (Crown Inn) a few times which serves great food and has a lovely beer garden.

Would recommend lodge and would not hesitate in booking again when visiting this area.

Beautifully presented inside and out, and with only the sound of birdsong around you, it is a little piece of rural paradise. The Crown Inn pub, which is a short walk down the road, has a lovely beer garden, friendly staff, and delicious food.

Maybe invest in a visitor book so guests can let others who follow of places of interest and where to avoid ? As not everyone looks at reviews online.

We loved our stay at Foxy Loxy, it’s the perfect bolthole for two and just what we were looking for. The place has everything you need, just in miniature.
We loved exploring the local area, the dusky cross country walk to the local pub (The Crown) and back again was a real highlight.

We stayed for 2 nights in January for my husband's 40th. It was perfect. Such beautiful surroundings and views, very peaceful all you can hear is various bird sounds. A deer came past the window at one point as well! The hot tub was perfect to warm up on a cold night. Will definitely be back one day!!

We loved our short winter break here. The hot tub was perfect for an evening relaxing in the cold weather after a walk along the coast. Great hosts who left us to our stay but were on hand to help if needed. We can’t wait to come back!

Second year staying at roe Wood love it very relaxing. Perfect escape from stresses of life. A bit difficult to find but once there you have great views a lovely hot tub and peace and quiet. If you want to go out it's not too far to main road that takes you all over.

A perfect little hideaway for our minimoon. We had a Mon-Fri stay at the end of August/beginning September and it was just perfect. Beautiful views down to the sea and so peaceful. Just enough room for the two of us and so cosy. The hot tub was perfect. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely return.

A fabulous little lodge that exceeded our expectations. Very quiet tranquil place with a great hot tub and beautiful views of the sourounding countryside. The lodge had everything we needed spotlessly clean lovely furnishings and a comfortable bed. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, thoughtful welcome gifts of chocolate, wine, and cider nothing was too much trouble.
We unfortunately had a puncture on our motorcycle Jo recommended a local garage and even gave my husband a lift to collect the bike! we are so grateful. A beautiful place excellent communication with the owners . We wouldn't hesitate to stay again wish we'd booked longer!

This is a cosy little cabin with amazing views,, very well equipped and clean.
We are coming back this year to stay in the other one at the bottom.
Good amenity’s in st Austell best for main shops etc.
It’s got some really nice walking and I throughly recommend National Trust Lanhydrock house and gardens ,excellent coffee and food. Lovely house.

If you want a relaxing private get away, then this is certainly the place for you. The owners look after Foxy Loxy thoroughly and it already felt like home on our first day.

The hot tub is a perfect temperature and lovely at all parts of the day. The cottage is well insulated so we were rarely cold as we visited in the month of March. The cooking appliances were convenient and allowed us to cook a nice breakfast!

I would recommend this to any couple. My partner and I wish we never left!

Fantastic cabin, everything was as described and more. Perfect setting over looking loads of fields. We even saw some deer in the morning! Hot tub was perfect and clean.
We loved the extra touches to the cabin, towel robes for the hot tub, fox cushions and even a welcome drink. We will definitely be going back.

Perfect place for a relaxing few days away. Lovely to listen to the owls and watch the other birds on the birdfeeder while soaking in the hot tub. Kitchen is well equipped, managed to cook a full Cornish breakfast each morning. Perfect evenings sitting on the sofa enjoying the view with a glass of fizz and the radio on. The Crown Inn is very friendly and food is excellent. Our second visit in 3 months, certainly not our last.

This is a stunning location with lovely views. The cabin had everything you could need and more. It was a lovely surprise to find some little extras in the kitchen. The cabin was spotless and the furnishings and linen seemed to be of a very high standard. The only downside was the shouting and music from the other cabin which was much nearer than it looked on the details.

The cottage was immaculate and couldn't have asked for anything more. The welcome pack was lovely and the owners contacted us within an hour of us arriving to check we had settled in.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay. The property feels brand new and is very well equipped. Dressing gowns, towels, plastic glasses for the hot tub The hot tub is an excellent facility and easy to use. The log burner is lovely to have on at night. It is very remote so we enjoyed days out in Cornwall and then nights in at Foxy Loxy. The Eden project is under 20 minutes drive away. We would love to return so much more to explore and see in Cornwall.

This is a lovely property with everything you could need for a short break. Hot tub was invaluable in iffy weather.
The only thing I would say is that it is very small with No wardrobe and just some hangers on a small rail which meant that the person getting in and out of bed on that side was having to duck under the hanging clothes. I think a row of hooks with hangers on the wall where the clock is might work a little better. There is also nowhere in the small shower room to stand anything while putting make up on etc but there is a shelf unit outside the door which Helps.
Apart from this I would absolutely Recommend Foxy Loxy for a short break (2 or 3 nights max)

I booked Foxy Loxy for my husbands 60th birthday treat. On arrival I was delighted with the cleanliness and overall appearance of our home for the next 4 nights. Covid 19 has made me anxious about keeping safe but we felt 100% safe here.
Stunning cabin, hot tub was fab, views to die for ( despite the weather) and will definitely go back and have already recommended it to family and friends. 10/10.

We had a lovely stay at Foxy Loxy in August/September 2020 for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The property was clean and well maintained. It was cute and cosy as the pictures and the description suggested. The location was beautiful and just as isolated as we'd hoped. The views from property and the the hot tub were amazing (we saw owls and deers amongst other wildlife) and we couldn't have been happier (well, maybe if the sun was out a bit more)!!

Beautiful place, exceeded expectations in almost every way, we thought the other property was a little close which inhibits complete privacy but other than that was amazing. We went there to celebrate our anniversary, beautifully clean, modern decor, the owners left us some fizz, shortbread and even an anniversary card! Would have loved to stay longer and would definitely come again!

We had a lovely few days away together. Was peaceful and so well laid out in the cottage. We loved the whole trip and the hosts were great!

Perfect! Jacuzzi was easy to use, WiFi was excellent, TV had lots of channels and Netflix, all equipment needed was provided in the kitchen. The owner was available over text and responded to everything we needed

Cosy, peaceful and just pure perfect relaxation. I couldn't have picked anything better from the moment we arrived to the second we left we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Loved the Hobbit fire when the nights got cold.. the hot tube looking out over the view! Perfect lovely owners too.

Absolutely stunning stay, it was a perfect breakaway to be in a luxury cottage. Location was fantastic and we had so much fun exploring the local towns. Thank you so much for having us and letting us enjoy your bit of heaven.

This property was beyond perfect. Perfect combo of getting back to nature but with all the mod cons. View (especially from the hot tub) was lovely. The property was a lovely spacious open plan studio flat style with more than required in the kitchen. Didn't care there wasn't wifi as there's so much to do and enjoy and the tv also.
Hot tub, BBQ, amazing see side towns near by (Fowey, what a treat), wood fire for the one rainy day we had and we met the owners who were lovely and generous. Even left us an anniversary card and treat for us on arrival. Above and Beyond!

Cannot recommend more and will 100% be returning.

The second hut is a bit close but angled so you cant see each other unless stood at a very specific point on their patio - We were lucky enough to be alone for 90% of our trip but wouldn't have imposed massively.

We were in the winning hut on the location for sure but either would be amazing for a romantic getaway!
