Take a trip away with your little bundle of joy
Penned on the 29th November 2018
We wanted to let you in on a little secret – most glamping retreats are surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for at least a Moses basket, thus providing the perfect place for a break away with your little bundle of joy.
Whether you’re looking for a tranquil babymoon or get-away-from-it-all break away with your little one, a rural hideaway could be just the ticket. Most of our lovely glamping site owners welcome babies at their retreats (some are, naturally, restricted to non-crawlers only, due to their locations around lakes and the steps leading up to them – safety always comes first, of course).
If you’re spoilt for choice on which type of accommodation to choose, let us fill you in a little. Safari tents are the biggest of the bunch, super spacious with plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. Most have super-cute cabin beds which toddlers and children will just love, if you’re bringing them along too. Yurts are close canvas relatives to safari tents and also offer a lot of space and comfort, usually with a double bed in the main yurt and bunk-beds in the adjoining baby yurt, along with the en suite facilities. Shepherd’s huts truly are surprisingly spacious, providing real cosy escapes. Cabins are exactly what they say on the tin and come in all shapes and sizes – some sleeping two plus a baby and some with room for all the family – along with pretty pods. All with kitchen facilities too, to make things easy-peasy.
We know how important it is to find the right retreat for you, so we would be happy to help with your search, just get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
