Beautifully handcrafted with colourful details throughout, this treetop retreat is the perfect place to slow down and switch off. Beyond the trees, wildflower meadows and the banks of the River Mole invite you to explore, and the tors and heaths of Exmoor National Park are just a stone's throw away.

Encompassed by towering trees, this little corner of calm feels instantly soothing. Light-filled spaces and warm wooden interiors are brought to life with playful pops of colour. The sumptuous king-size bed sits opposite a large window, perfect for delightfully slow mornings watching the world go by. As the sun dips and the evening cools, light the wood burner and curl up with that special someone, basking in the glow of the flickering flames.

Stock up on local produce from the nearby market town of South Molton before whipping up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a kettle, toaster, Ninja air fryer, fridge with icebox, a one-ring portable induction hob and a radio. Dine at the gorgeous blue bistro table for two or take your meal outside onto the deck overlooking the beautiful woodland valley and beyond.

At one end of this charming cabin, you'll find a handmade king-size bed with cosy linens and windows that frame the idyllic countryside below. The sleek bathroom features a WC, sink, shower and a heated towel rail, perfect for warming fluffy towels to greet you from the hot tub.

A true suntrap, the spacious deck at Hazel is made for long, lazy afternoons. Stretch out on a lounger with a cool drink in hand, or sink into the covered hot tub for a soothing soak throughout the seasons. As evening falls and the countryside quiets, step outside and gaze up at the sky for an utterly romantic night under the stars.

Just beyond your hideaway, a shared meadow invites you to slow down and soak up the surroundings. Fire up the barbecue for a leisurely alfresco feast, gather around the fire pit as dusk settles, or climb into a hammock perched on the hillside, where sweeping views roll down to the River Mole.

Just a ten-minute wander from Hazel, you'll find the welcoming Castle Inn in the village of George Nympton - an inviting spot for hearty pub meals, local ales, and a quick catch-up with the outside world via Wi-Fi. Just a little further from your hideaway lies the charming market town of South Molton, where cobbled streets are lined with independent shops and the twice-a-week pannier market is brimming with local produce and handmade treats. Lace up your boots and head for the wild beauty of Exmoor National Park, or soak up coastal charm at Westward Ho! and the golden sands of Woolacombe, both part of the stunning North Devon National Landscape.

Please note that the walk up to the hideaway is quite steep and can be uneven. There are two other hideaways onsite should you wish to book a getaway with friends, Alma and Iris. All hideaways are positioned in a way to assure privacy, with your own private areas, secluded decking and hot tub to enjoy.
