After a day of exploring, light the wood burner, turn on the radio, and let your cares drift away.

At one end of this charming cabin, you'll find a sumptuous king-size bed with plush pillows that promise an uninterrupted slumber with windows that look out over the idyllic meadow and beyond. A sleek bathroom sits at the other end of your rural hideaway with a WC, sink, shower and a toasty heated towel rail.

With a deck overlooking breathtaking valley views, Iris promises tranquillity at every turn. Sink into a sun lounger with a holiday read, or slip into the covered hot tub for a blissful soak, perfect in every season.

Just behind your woodland hideaway, a shared meadow offers the perfect picnic spot, where you can kick off your shoes and feel the grass beneath your feet. While away afternoons swaying in the hammock, with the gentle rustle of leaves overhead lulling you into relaxation. As evening settles in, light the barbecue, pour a glass of something special, and watch the sky blush gold, before gathering around the fire pit to bask in the magic of a starlit night.

If you can tear yourself away from this charming rural retreat, the delights of North Devon await. Take a leisurely ten-minute stroll to the much-loved Castle Inn in George Nympton, perfect for an evening drink, relaxed dinner or hearty breakfast (just be sure to book ahead). For an afternoon of exploring, the vibrant town of South Molton is just a few miles away and is well worth a visit. Its artisan stalls, independent boutiques, and lively pannier market are the ideal places to stock up on local supplies and treats to enjoy back at your hideaway.

Please note that the walk up to the hideaway is quite steep and can be uneven.

There are two other hideaways onsite should you wish to book a getaway with friends: Alma and Hazel. All hideaways are positioned in a way to assure privacy, with your own private spaces, secluded decking and hot tub to enjoy.
