Owl's Rest

A beautiful, peaceful cabin, with the lovely addition of the outside bath. Well furnished and equipped, making the best use of the space available. The location is great, very central and at most 20-minutes from all the main destinations on the peninsula. Friendly owners, and the thoughtful touch of a Cornish cream tea and bottle of prosecco on arrival.

Absolutely stunning place to stay! It was perfect in every way. I will definitely book to stay again. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from things. Perfect location and the welcome cream tea and dog biscuits went down very nicely.

Staying at the Owl's Rest was amazing. This secluded hut is large and beautifully designed and equipped to the highest standard. The garden and surrounding area is also beautiful and although seeing a bath in the garden seems strange it turned out to be an ingenious idea as I've never had a more relaxing bath any where. We truly had a lovely stay and would have no hesitation in recommending or staying there again.

Our stay at the Owls Rest exceeded our expectations. The shepherds hut was amazing and of high standard. The private enclosed garden was perfect for our Springer Spaniel. An outdoor bath to relax in after a day of walking. It’s exactly what we needed and more, tranquility and so relaxing. Will be planning our next trip.

Great Shepherd Hut and very cosy for myself and greyhound.
Really appreciated the "garden bath" especially after the long costal walk lol.
Good location for trips out to surrounding areas in The Lizard.
Debbie and Damien are really great hosts and helped me out when the hob gave up. Nothing appears to much for them, wonderful people.

Owl's Rest is a hidden gem here on the Lizard, tucked away in a peaceful private garden. So luxurious inside and out, we found staying here a real treat.

Just perfect. A beautiful and very clean shepherd hut. Gorgeous GARDEN, very peaceful, lovely rural setting. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back
The hut its self is of a very high standard. Excellent quality workmanship. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was clean and worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay - we couldn't reccomend it more if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and romantic private getaway. We initially were hesitant due to the few reviews available, but we can 100% confirm that it really is only because the place is new! We took food to cook in the airfryer/on the outdoor fire pit, some games to play, and prosecco to enjoy in the alfresco bathtub - perfect few days to get away (...and to get engaged!!????)

Beautiful shepherds hut on the Lizard. Definitely one of the best I have stayed in - perfect for a solo holiday, and I experienced it in all weathers! The bed was perfect to snuggle in and read on a rainy, cooler evening with the wood burner on, and on a warm, sunny day having breakfast outside then a bath in the evening was just perfect. I had a peacock visit me on my last morning which was just lovely. Highly recommend Owl's Rest.

This was the best shepherds hut I have ever stayed in! I have stayed in about 7 different huts and this was a fantastic mix of space, cosiness and homeliness. I particularly loved the bathroom styling, the space in the shower, the fact there were thick beautiful curtains which made it feel more luxury and cosy in the evenings, and I loved the added sofa to give an almost separate living room feel to cosy up in front of the fire. The bed was super comfy too and I like how it's enclosed in a separate area - the shelf space in there was great to put a drink on and i liked that you had a lamp too for the evenings. The outside bath was fantastic, I will be back! Thank you, Melanie

We had a lovely stay at owls rest, it had everything we needed. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and a great location for exploring the Lizard and Helford river.
