Nellie's Nook is an absolutely delightful choice for a romantic getaway. Fiona is a lovely, helpful, and thoughtful host who made every effort to make our stay a complete pleasure, which it was. Every one of her recommendations for local sites and food options etc. was perfect! There are so many good thing you could say, but some of our faves were the excellent fire bath and outdoor fire pit, the lovely clean, modern, well-insulated cottage, the beautiful view and peaceful seclusion, and waking up to Dartmoor ponies! Great location for access to the moors and to the coastline. Highly recommended, and we'll be back when we can!

Nellie’s Nook is the perfect getaway in Devon, well located but remote and an escape from the hustle and bustle. The animals are lovely and being surrounded by nature. The cabin itself was well thought out and comfortable, amenities all worked as expected :)

Overall, the stay exceeding my expectations and Fiona was the perfect host that went above and beyond for my stay. My car broke down and she was on hand with jumper cables too, a truly amazing host.

The finish of the property, the time and care to details in the welcome package, other subtle touches refilling the fire wood and outdoor bath each day, changing the outdoor recycling bin. All of these things add up to a stay that was truly delightful.

I highly recommend staying at Nellies Nook and simply looking up at the incredible stars and satellites that make themselves known at night. It's also incredibly quiet but not in a creepy way!
