Henrosa was a really beautiful place to spend the weekend, felt secluded yet a short drive away from Bude where there is plenty to do. So well furnished and decorated with everything you need! Loved it!

We stayed at Henrosa for 3 nights and it was such a wonderful stay. The lodge exceeded expectations in every way: it was clean, modern, cosy, fully equipped with everything we needed (and more!), it's dog friendly, the views were outstanding, the hot tub and outside area was phenomenal, it was private and in a very quiet location. It was only a 5-10 minute drive to Bude, the beaches and other places we wanted to visit. The owners were really friendly and attentive. Absolutely loved it and would definitely go back!

I recommend anyone to stay here. It’s absolutely stunning. It will make you feel right at home - but better. We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit, the children loved it. The place is cozy in the evenings with the log fire, there’s a coffee machine with plenty to choose from, including hot chocolate, there’s games for the family. The hot tub is in a great place to relax while looking at the view. We found when it was sunny, we didn’t want to go out, we wanted to stay here and take it all in, it’s private, a real hidden gem. You feel like you’re a million miles away! Local town and supermarkets are no longer than 10 minutes in the car. Perfect location. Lovely hosts. Will be returning. Couldn’t rate this place anymore than we do. Thank you for the best time in Bude.

We stayed at Henrosa to celebrate our engagement and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect cosy getaway. From the moment we arrived, Laura and Rob made us feel incredibly welcome. They are the warmest hosts you could ask for. The thoughtful gift hamper they left to help us celebrate was such a lovely touch.
The property itself is absolutely stunning. An immaculate little hideaway with breathtaking views across the rolling Cornish hills and the village below, with Bude in the distance. Every detail has been so carefully thought through, and the quality throughout is exceptional.
It’s the ideal spot to explore Bude, Widemouth and the surrounding coastline, though we often found ourselves not wanting to leave. The highlight for us was the hot tub. Spending every evening watching the sunset fade into a star-filled sky was truly unforgettable.
Laura and Rob went above and beyond throughout our stay, even arranging to post an item we accidentally left behind. We can’t recommend Henrosa highly enough. It’s pure perfection.

Beautiful view, gorgeous furnishings and fittings, very comfy bed and the best hot tub. Loved our week at Henrosa. Honestly couldn't fault it. Probably the best Classic Cottages place that I've stayed in....and there have been quite a few. Highly recommended.

Not long back from a fantastic 6 nights at Henrosa with our teenage son and our dog.
The property is superbly furnished and presented with both internal and external facilities not disappointing. We had mixed weather but managed to use the hot tub nearly every day, even spotted a few shooting stars in the star filled sky on one night! The space to allow our dog to run about to the side of the property was much appreciated, whilst not secure, for a reasonably well behaved dog it was just right to throw a ball around and play a few games.
The extra touches, comfortable outside seating, providing pods for the Dolce Gusto coffee (or hot chocolate!) machine and the soft bathrobes made the stay just perfect. The views from the terrace and bi fold doors make Henrosa a light filled place to spend time.
Henrosa is close enough to Bude to provide activities if needed with walks from the door or short drives to plenty of beach and eating out options as well.
Laura and Rob were unintrusive hosts but quick to respond when contacted. Thank you for creating this relaxing and well thought out space.

Wonderful property, extremely well equipped and thoughtfully set up. Furnishings and cleaned to a high standard. A truely beautiful setting, with countryside views and the hot tub and firepit made it feel extra special. We had a lovely week’s holiday with gorgeous beaches nearby and we did coasteering which will be very memorable.

Amazing accommodation and the views are beautiful. My Grandson really enjoyed running around the big garden. Laura was the perfect hostess and nothing was to much trouble for her. The lovely welcoming gifts were much appreciated by us all. Bude and the great beaches are only 10 minutes drive away. We will definitely be returning again to build some more Amazing memories in your little slice of paradise. Icing on the cake is the wonderful jacuzzi, perfect for star gazing.

We had a really lovely and relaxing time at Henrosa Cottage. After a long drive, it was great to be warmly welcomed by the lovely owners, Rob and Laura.
The complimentary welcome was a luxurious treat and a nice touch. The cottage smelled fresh and was neat, clean, and charmingly arranged when we walked in.
There were loads of things that made the stay extra comfy — the hot tub and the stunning view of the farm were a big win (perfect after a day of doing absolutely nothing), the bed was really cozy (a lighter duvet for the summer nights would be a nice option). The coffee bar was our favourite. Also, major points for the dishwasher — it made cleaning up so much easier on holiday.
The cottage was also very private, which made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing.
One of the highlights was being able to walk right into the middle of the farm — not just admire the view, but actually experience it, which was really nice.
Location-wise, it was spot on. Just a short 5–10 minute drive to the local town with shops and restaurants, and super close to the beach too — which we also definitely made the most of on our last day.
It was a wonderful stay. Would definitely go back! Highly recommended! ????

Me and my partner needed an escape while I worked remotely and this place was perfect and more. The views were breathtaking, and looking over Bude in the hot-tub was so relaxing. Local shops and cafes were a small walk away and there some great places to eat. Finally, the service of the hosts really made the stay special, from a lovely welcome to pack to going the extra mile, I could not recommend Henrosa enough. Would love to stay again!

We loved our stay here. The views from the hot tub are magnificent, you can wallow in the tub and gaze out over the horizon, just perfect. You feel quite high up and can see really far from the hot tub
The location was wonderful peaceful and secluded which was what we wanted.
It’s a five minute drive to the beach which was wonderful for dog walks and exploring
Kitchen was brilliantly equipped, had everything you needed
Would throughly recommend.

This being our second stay at Henrosa, we weren’t going to let heavy snow in Devon or Storm Bert stop us enjoying our weekend away.
Even though the weather was pretty grim and blowing a hoolie outside most of the time, inside was warm, cosy and surprisingly peaceful.
We even braved the luxurious hot tub several times, as it was so inviting.
Everything we needed for a quiet relaxing weekend away was there, and we loved the hamper full of local goodies that the owner, Laura, had left for us. A very thoughtful touch.
All in all, a perfect pre-Christmas getaway retreat.

Wow! Just Wow. Henrosa was just perfect. If there was a Mary Poppins for holiday homes, this would be it.
When pulling into the driveway of the cottage you are immediately taken by the absolutely stunning views. The holiday cottage in itself is simply a stunning. The quality of finish is outstanding with comfort and style a top priority. The owner have simply thought of everything, from a fully equipped kitchen (that you could could a 3 course meal in) picnic basket, and blanket to spa quality hand washing and body creams in the bathrooms that simply made you feel you was at a spa.
The hot tub was simply bliss and really helped everyone relax and take in the Beaty of the Cornish countryside.
Thank you for an amazing stay. We cannot wait to plan our next return.

We were blown away by Henrosa as we arrived. Stunning views, beautiful accomodation and a hot tub as a bonus. All amenities made for a relaxing holiday. Thank you Laura and Robert for a lovely stay. We really did not want to leave. Your place is so lovely and you have thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. We loved all of the lovely treats and the hot tub in the evening relaxing with those amazing views. We saw a lot of rainbows as the weather was changeable, and the peacefulness surrounding the retreat meant we could hearing the owl whilst in the hot tub at night. Will definitely be back.

Such a wonderful experience staying at Henrosa, from discovering it online through to booking. Every single part was taken care of. Henrosa for us was a magical stay for 4 December nights. From the beautiful details of the furnishings through to how comfortable the beds were. It was immaculate and clean but also welcoming and stylish. We loved the location and how friendly locals were. Henrosa has been so cleverly put together to maximise the space and with 4 of us there (inc dog) we always had our own space and time whilst being together. We enjoyed the beaches, sea pool, independent cinema and local shops. We will be back, it was so easy to get to many places leaving enough time to enjoy Henrosa with its stunning views. For us it was a long drive but so very worth it. We all loved it. Thank you.

A perfect weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. Beautifully designed and decorated with everything thought about, from very comfortable beds and bedding, gorgeous smelling luxury toiletries, and a very thoughtful coffee/tea bar! The hot tub was perfect and had the most stunning views, especially in the evening when the village across the valley light up like twinkle lights. Very thoughtful host, could not have been more considerate , and a very yummy treat box too. A perfect place for a perfect escape.

Had a lovely stay at Henrosa. We decided to stay there as we love to go to Widemouth Bay, Tintagel and Boscastle.
The interior of the cabin was very nice , loved the hot tub, but it turned out it’s next to a pig farm and the smell was very unpleasant, lots of flies everywhere.
It’s also located just next to the very busy A39 and you can hear the traffic noise.

We loved our stay at Henrosa. The accommodation itself is beautiful with amazing views over the countryside.
It is very well located with short drives to nearby beaches and restaurants which could also be easily walked to on the country paths next to the property.
The host, Laura was friendly, welcoming and helpful.
We felt very lucky to have stayed here and hope to return again in the future.

This was definitely one of the best places we've ever staying in the UK. We loved everything about it! The cabin was in a lovely location, in the countryside but still so close to Bude and the beach. Everything in the cabin was perfect, we had everything we needed and Laura added so many extras which was really thoughtful. Definitely a must visit when staying in Cornwall.

From booking to the end of our holiday, everything went smoothly. The lovely, friendly owners have thought of everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing break and was on hand if we needed anything. The very private cabin with an amazing view, was spotlessly clean with lots of attention to detail including lovely hand wash and moisturiser, a fabulous welcome hamper, and quality throughout. Extremely comfortable beds and the hot tub was a joy, especially when the stars were out and being able to relax after a long day. There were days when we chose to not use the car and so took walks from the cabin, relaxed on the sun loungers and our dog loved the expanse of lawn to chase his ball and play. We loved staying at Henrosa and will definitely be re booking. Many thanks for sharing your fabulous property.

A very modern, exceptionally clean and peaceful hideaway! We spent a fabulous and relaxing 5 days here with our dog. Spectacular views and sunsets, dramatic coastlines and beaches within a 5 min drive. All amenities close by too....including restaurants, pubs, takeaways and supermarkets.
We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day exploring.
Highly recommended :)

What a fantastic stay.
We turned up to our own tranquil slice of paradise. From the moment you step out of the car you are met by rolling views, sheep baa’ing in the back ground and a beautiful cabin. Walking up the grass ramp you soon relax and feel right at home when you see the high calibre of accommodation. There’s not a single item that hasn’t been thought about by the lovely Laura & Rob, making the stay effortless.
Before arriving we could familiarise ourselves with the cabin as a detailed welcome pack was sent over by email and has all the information you may need.
The interior is well thought out, clean and beautiful. The kitchen has everything you may need, you can even get your hands dirty and make some Cornish scones for an afternoon tea with a view.
We initially thought we were going to eat out every evening but we soon changed our plans, got the fire pit on, and relaxed in the hot tub whilst watching the un-interrupted sunsets.
The bathrooms are small but amble with the shower being bigger than first thought, although I could imagine bathing little ones may be a little tricky. The towels & robes were provided and spotless.
The duvets and pillows are cozy and light and there are plenty of blankets. Everything was clean and easy enough to maintain without making it a chore.
We certainly will be re-booking at Henrosa.

An absolutely beautiful cabin. Completely secluded with a perfect view at the top of a cornfield. Great location for exploring but ideal for a few days escape - cook outside, relax in the hot tub, read on the sun loungers and watch the sunset. Thank you for a fabulous stay.
