Just picture this, a one-of-a-kind getaway settled on the edge of a working farm, with tranquil views of rural green pastures. Sounds dreamy right? As you pull open the double doors and step into your unique home from home, you will instantly be charmed by the stunning, rustic and oh-so-cosy interiors. The earthy colour palette of soft oranges and burnt woody tones, allows you to instantly feel at peace and the subtle stylish railway touches gently remind you of the hideaway's unique history. Being a former railway carriage, the whole interior has had a complete makeover and is now the most wholesome hideaway for you to run away to with the one you love most. To the right of the carriage, you will find the lovely double bed, dressed in beautiful soft linen furnishings. Every detail has been thought through so that the cabin can accommodate two with ease. For example, the fold down table cleverly hangs on the wall to allow more space when not in use. We love the retro chairs, perfectly positioned so you can simply sit back and admire the spellbinding view, with a glass of wine in hand. The perfectly compact kitchen can be found to the left of the carriage and is well-equipped with everything you will need for your stay in nature. There's a fridge, kettle, single electric hob, combination mini electric oven, air fryer and grill. And the ensuite shower room is just the spot for refreshing after your morning dip in the heavenly hot tub.

From dawn till dusk the outside space at Sammi's Freight is a dream. With plenty of places to sit and enjoy your morning cuppa, you can simply wake slowly knowing you have complete privacy. And, as the sun begins to disappear beyond the horizon, enjoy an evening tipple in the balmy golden light from the warmth of the wood-fired hot tub. Dog owners can relax knowing that the whole patio area is enclosed so four legged friends can roam freely. We told you; every detail has been thought through to ensure your stay allows you to switch off and simply be.

Nestled close to Richmond, known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Sammi's Freight couldn't be in a better position for exploring North Yorkshire. Richmond is a historic market town with a Norman castle, cobbled marketplace and home to the fast-flowing river Swale. For adventure seekers be sure to pack your walking boots as there's so much to explore in the Yorkshire Dales. From waterfalls to mountain passes and underground caves, this historic landscape is somewhere you will never forget. A little further afield you will find the North Yorkshire Moors, a National Park not to be missed. Sweeping moorland, a rugged coastline, ancient woodlands and postcard pretty villages await. Forged by nature and shaped by generations, allow yourself time to discover this magical corner of the UK. Wherever you choose to explore during your time in Yorkshire, you will love returning to your hidden haven and simply relaxing under the stars.

Hot tub will be hot upon arrival, unless requested otherwise. There will be enough logs for you to reheat the hot tub once, but thereafter please purchase logs direct from the owner- £10 per bag.
