Inside, you will find the cosiest living space, complete with a wood-burner, perfect for getting snug after a brisk walk. The whole aura of the hut is soft and calming, owing to its warm colour palette and comfy furnishings. You will leave this wholesome retreat feeling utterly relaxed and rejuvenated.

Step Inside

The combination of rustic and chic features inside the hut make this hideaway so special, you will instantly feel at ease here. Blue hues and woody tones welcome you inside with a warm hug. To the right of the hideaway, you will find a separate bedroom with a comfy double bed, adorned with luxury linens, promising a restful night's sleep. For little ones, the bench seat can convert into a single bed, perfect for children up to the age of 12. As morning arrives, draw the curtains and admire the view as birds sing their morning song. The superbly equipped kitchen offers a full oven, two ring hob, microwave and fridge with icebox. It has everything you’ll need for rustling up a delicious cooked breakfast or romantic evening meal. There is also a wooden cover for the sink, creating extra countertop space. The living space is dreamy, complete with comfy arm chairs, a wood-burner and small dining table and chairs. After a long winter walk, light the fire and get snug with that special someone. No detail has been spared at this gorgeous retreat.

As you wander through the meadow to your gorgeous getaway, be sure to take a moment to admire its breathtaking surroundings. The outside space is nothing short of a dream. With unbeatable countryside views and a large meadow to roam, you will fall head over heels in love with this rural escape. Not to mention, your beloved pooch is welcome to come along for the adventure. On a warm summer afternoon, enjoy a delicious picnic as the smell of freshly cut grass fills the air. As dusk falls and purple, golden hues melt together in the sky, light the rustic fire pit for an evening under the stars. Try your hand at alfresco cooking and barbecue some delicious local produce, or stick to toasting marshmallows if you’d rather! As the embers soften, enjoy your favourite tipple and toast to an unforgettable retreat back to nature.

A stay at Annie’s View is perfect for a romantic getaway or small family break. Its rural location is simply idyllic and it's just a short distance from the charming town of Ottery St Mary. The town sits on the River Otter and is steeped in history. Roam through its quaint streets and admire the delightful thatched cottages, stopping to browse in the lovely independent shops. There is a great variety of eateries, pubs and tearooms for a spot of lunch. Why not visit during the world famous Barrel ceremony which takes place in November or during Pixie day, when children dress up as Pixies and re-enact old legends!

Venture to the bustling market town of Honiton, famous for its antique shops or visit the magnificent church in the town of Cullompton. All of this is just a short distance from the vibrant city of Exeter or the Blackdown Hills, marked as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty… you have the best of both worlds, right on your doorstep. A little further away, is the famous Jurassic Coast in Dorset, with its award winning Blue Flag beaches and timeless charm. There is endless beauty to discover here, don’t forget to stop at Lyme Regis for some local seafood on the beach front. After a blissful day of adventures, head back to your wholesome getaway and put your feet up with a warm cup of hot chocolate.

Extra Information

This shepherd's hut can accommodate 2 adults + 1 child up to 12 years old. Infants are welcome, but please bring your own equipment.
