There is an additional sleeping area up the ladder on a mezzanine floor, complete with three single beds for younger family members. A holiday highlight will be watching the moon and stars through the traditional Toono window. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need for an intimate dinner for two or a family meal to be enjoyed around the dining table. The quirky shower room is such a special feature. Simply gorgeous, with bespoke tiles and a clear dome ceiling, making it feel as though you are showering in the wild!

Stargazers' Retreat sits on the southerly edge of the Island, close to the village of Niton where you can stock up on holiday goodies at the local shop or dine out at one of the traditional pubs. You can even hire an E-bike from Zoom E-Bike Hire in the village and explore the many picturesque cycling routes nearby, all with minimal traffic. For lovers of the outdoors, head to St Catherine's lighthouse for stunning views or wander down to Castle Haven beach, a hidden gem.
Just a short drive away, the town of Ventnor is perfect, boasting an array of shops, delicious eateries and a traditional beachfront. Whilst you are here, visit Ventnor Haven Fishery where you can pick up the freshest of the day's catch to cook at your hideaway, or visit the beautiful botanic gardens.
A little further afield, Freshwater is ideal for swimmers, kayakers and paddle boarders. After a day of adventures on the water, try the quirky Piano Café for scrumptious home cooked food. A getaway on the Island would not be complete without seeing the iconic Needles, so why not make a day of it, take the chairlift at Alum Bay (not for the fainthearted but there are steps as an alternative), or hire a speedboat to take you for a close-up view. The lovely owners offer a wellbeing menu including; massages, facials, yoga and aromatherapy treatments for the outdoor bathtubs. Please speak directly to the owner to arrange a treatment and drift into a dreamy state of relaxation during your stay at Stargazers’ Retreat.
To the left of the hideaway, there is a smaller neighbouring yurt. Both properties have plenty of privacy, with their own secluded outdoor spaces.
