Introduction
General
Little Wren is the sweetest retreat to nature. Nestled in the corner of a traditional working farm in Cornwall, this really is a break-away off-the-well-worn path. With enchanting views across the valley, beautiful interiors, and an outdoor area to enjoy, you'll find you never want to leave this little slice of heaven.
The open plan layout of this exquisite tiny house allows your day to flow effortlessly, from the moment you wake to morning bird song, right up until the embers from the fire have slowly faded away. The comfortable bed has an impressive hand carved headboard, created by a local craftsman. This isn't the only local touch within your Unique hideaway. The pottery is hand-made by the owner's sister, Julia Crimmen and makes the kitchen shelving a delightful feature. The kitchen has everything you need to prep your daily picnics and to cook up a delicious meal for your loved one. Take a seat at the table which overlooks the tranquil countryside and tuck into some tasty local produce.
This heavenly hideaway is the perfect retreat to nature through all seasons. There's no need to worry about being chilly after a brisk winter walk along the coast, as there's a wood-burner for you to cosy up by. Set up a boardgame, prep yourself a cheeseboard and spend your afternoon relaxing in front of the warm glow of the crackling fire pure bliss! Through the warmer months you have the luxury of your own private patio as well as the colourful garden which has unspoilt views of heavenly green pastures. Light up the barbecue, pour yourself a G & T and soak up the evening sunshine. Little Wren really is the perfect spot for some much-needed downtime.
Little Wren is found down a farm lane, the cows will greet you on your drive down through the working farm. The owners live on site and will give you a warm welcome but of course ensure there is privacy throughout your stay.
Out and About
Whilst the cabin provides the perfect romantic retreat, there is also so much to discover around this idyllic location. The Helford River has pretty creeks and sandy coves to be discovered by foot, or for anyone who loves the water, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also popular with paddleboarders and kayakers. The Lizard peninsula is only a short distance from your front door. With the famous Kynance Cove just around the corner and the pretty fishing village Cadgwith a short drive away, you won't know where to explore first! Little Wren can only be described as an idyllic Cornish hideaway.

A totally wonderful place to stay. Fantastically relaxing and friendly location, We are hoping to go back soon. There is loads to see locally. Great farm shops around making self catering really enjoyable, preparing food in the cabin kitchen was really easy as it had all that has all you could need.
The hosts were really friendly and welcoming, right down to the farm dog that saw her job as official greeter.
Staying at Little Jenny Wren was really restorative. An amazing little hideaway.

We had a wonderfully peaceful week at Little Wren which is one of the sweetest places we have stayed. Having explored Cornwall previously we made a point of not travelling beyond a twelve mile radius of the property as there are plenty of things to do locally. We were lucky enough to catch Cadgwith Cove's charity folk day with Morris dancers and singers, but in any case it is such a pretty cove to visit, as is Church Cove and Poldhu.
We loved Helford and its Holy Mackerel Cafe was a gem, Kestle Barton's art display and garden was fascinating, and Gear's Pasties are certainly some of the tastiest around. Roskilly's was a very interesting farm diversification and was free to enter which would be especially helpful for families. The viewing area at Culdrose is also free of charge, although there was not much to see when we were there. St Antony's Church is beautiful and we hired a rowing boat from Sailaway next door for a relaxing trip up Gillan creek - but be aware of the tides. Also please note the necessity to be able to reverse a car around local narrow lanes!

This was an amazing find literally at the last minute thanks to the lovely owners and the brilliant help from Classic Cottages. The cabin is very cosy and well equipped, including excellent wifi, smart TV, lovely bed and shower and cooking facilities, as well as a very warm woodburner, and the site on the farm is secluded and peaceful, but also the owners are so welcoming and friendly and available for help or a chat if need be. The farm is easy to get to along decent roads and a short well surfaced lane, not far from the main Helston to St Keverne road, and the surroundings are rolling farmland. You are close to all that the Lizard has to offer and 15 minutes from Helston, but such is the privacy and comfort of the cabin that you can just enjoy the peace and quiet there as well. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful couple of weeks! Jane and Stephen were hospitable hosts, cabin-life was cosy, comfortable and so simple.
Every morning and every night was a treat just to soak up the sounds and calm of the dairy farm. Being around the cows was a real plus, loved it.
This location enabled us to explore many SW Coastal Path circular walks on The Lizard, both exhilarating and exhausting (at times), but beautiful and peaceful too, and of course it was nice to know we'd be returning to our home from home, Little Jenny Wren.
We have made some wonderful memories, our thanks go out to Jane and Stephen, we'd certainly love to return.

Little Jenny Wren is simply gorgeous! It is delightfully furnished and very comfortable. The location, on a working dairy farm, is so beautiful and peaceful with far reaching views across rolling countryside. It is well placed for exploring this part of Cornwall and many places of interest are within easy reach. Would definitely recommend visiting the Minak Theatre, the tin mine at Geevor, St Michael's Mount, Kynance Cove, Coverack, the Lizard Penninsula and many splendidl walks around gorgeous gardens. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly and the other inhabitants, the dairy herd, are very appealing and well behaved!! We loved it!

Our stay here was lovely and the cabin was very cosy, especially with the woodburner on! The hosts were so helpful and went above and beyond offering help when we had car trouble and providing a gorgeous homemade cake when we arrived! It is just as described and the decor was both quirky and homely. (Be aware that the WiFi and phone signal is very patchy but can just about be accessed on the door side of the cabin.)
