Wildwood Hideaway

An excellent place for a long weekend break, so quiet and peaceful, nature right outside your door. Lots of wildlife, with birdsong and even a deer wandering past browsing on the leaves.
We have a nervous dog who loved every minute, with no noises to upset him and some lovely walks minutes away. A lovely time.

Had a lovely stay. Fantastic location. Hosts very helpful. This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning again.

Had a fantastic break at Wildwood Hideaway. Being familiar with the area already, we knew the location was great, Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath being amongst the places nearby. The cottage itself is in a lovely setting, and was lovely. Hosts very helpful too. We will definitely be looking to return.

Really enjoyed our time at Wildwood,great setting for the Lodge and well sited for visiting tourist attractions.

We had a lovely getaway at Wildwood Hideaway. The whole experience was amazing and the 'relaxation vibes' hit us as soon as we parked up. The area, the cabin and the surroundings were so peaceful and you feel like you're away from civilisation and in your own little utopia - you can just relax and unwind. The cabin itself is a Tardis and has everything and more that you'll need for your stay! You are a short drive away from many pubs, sights, attractions, so obviously having a car is a must, unless you just want to chill at the cabin for the duration (which we were tempted to do!). Couldn't recommend this place more. Thank you to Tina and family for making our stay perfect!

We really enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful surroundings and easily accessible, really pretty, local walks. It's an excellent place to see the local wildlife while sitting quietly on the verandah.

Wildwood Hideaway was a beautiful little cottage in the middle of nowhere, overlooking farmers' fields and offering a slice of serenity. It came equipped for a 2 person stay and we were very comfortable there. Our orange labradoodle, Malkie, had the most fantastic time being out in nature all day then curling up by the fire once the evening had drawn in. Location was ideal to get around North Cornwall during our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a bit of peace and quiet with the most stunning views!

Hosts were fantastic. I loved the privacy and the views. Not far from beaches and the town. It was nice and secluded.

What a little haven this cabin is. I have 7 children and grandmother to 8 and my life is rather hectic. This little getaway was to get some work done but I enjoyed the serenity so much I ended up doing absolutely nothing. Apart from walking with my dog. If you are looking from time out from your lives I would highly recommend. Such beautiful walks to be had and the sounds of the wildlife is truly rejuvenating. Even though it rained hard on Sunday, the porch over the cabin shields you from any rain was so nice reading a book and listening to the rain on the trees and then of an evening lighting the log burner. It is nice and secluded so if looking to get away from others this is the perfect spot.

Even though we were only a ten minute drive from Wadebridge, the hideaway felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but the trees for company. A blissful getaway from the daily grind!

Great central location in north Cornwall. We used this Lovely cabin for our hiking campaign. Highly recommended.

Perfect location - in lovely countryside only a short distance away from a town. Beautiful beaches, historic houses, walking trails, so much to do in the area. The Hideaway is very cosy and comfortable - and quiet. Get away from it all in this ideal Cornish retreat.

Lovely, peaceful location. Great as dog owners to have freedom to explore safely. Nice to have BBQ, hammock etc as well as all the basics inside the accommodation. Central for lots of beaches and other walks. This is our second visit & we hope to come back again.

Wildwood is exactly what it says in the description, peace and restoration for the soul. All on its own and guaranteed quietness. We loved it and will return.

Had the most amazing stay at Wildwood Hideaway. Fantastic location with views across the fields watching the sunrise and set each day. We had a peaceful and tranquil stay and Tina was very welcoming and accomodating. The lodge is beautifully furnished to a high standard and lovely and cosy of an evening. We are already planning our next stay!!

Great place to stay with fab hosts

We love the hideaway, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the most beautiful views from the front porch. It’s in a fabulous location with local walks and pubs a short distance away, and in good distance for towns visiting local towns and attractions. The place is a therapy, Whenever we’ve come here we’ve found all our troubles melt away and we come away rebooted. We’ll always want to return.

Lovely location in the trees at the edge of the barley field, not overlooked and so felt nicely remote, routinely saw the resident barn owls and the local foxes. Cabin provided everything we needed for a cosy, comfortable stay, including a bed, towel and biscuits for our dog. Good overall location providing easy access to the towns and villages along the coast.

Wildwood is an amazing property, we had a brilliant week. A delightful hideaway to relax and recharge. Plenty close by to do if you need it.

A beautiful little hut, hidden away in a charming part of the Country. Impeccably clean. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the hideaway. Tina was very accommodating and helpful. A perfect get away.

great place for a quiet getaway but also close to everything. the wildlife was amazing. all that was missing was a woodfired hot tub!

This is an amazing space, in which you cannot fail to be consumed by the peace and tranquillity: if only we lived here!

Wildwood exceeded our expectations. Located in a small woodland with views over fields it was idyllic break.
Our hostess was very accommodating even with covid and provided nice small touches as well.
All in all it was absolutely perfect and peaceful but many sights and activities still close by in Cornwall

This is the perfect place for a relaxing break. It is so peaceful. Everything in the Wildwood Hideaway is so beautifully done. It is cosy, quiet and comfortable. You definitely get the feeling you have escaped from it all, yet you are still near to lovely places to visit. We could not fault it at all and would love to stay there again in the future.

A beautiful home from home with all the amenities you will ever need provided for within the Hideaway, with only deer, rabbits and pheasants for neighbours!

This is a great facility for a couples’ getaway, ideal location, quality accommodation, superb setting. One of our friends has already booked for later this year

Very beautiful and cosy hideaway in a very good location in the North of Cornwall. A perfect place to stay for a couples getaway. The hideaway has everything you could possibly need with great added extras such as the log fire, bbq and outside hammock. The host, Tina, is extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend and want to come back soon!

We chose this cottage because of the location and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect, it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, silence other than the wildlife which was great to wake up to, when in fact you were still close to everything. The hammock and outdoor space was the icing on the cake, it was lovely and even nice on the odd morning that we had a little rain, lovely to look out with the door open as it was shielded by canopy.
The log burner too was a lovely addition. Everything was spotlessly clean and even under the circumstances due to Covid-19 we felt very comfortable being there.

Stunning little pod in a secluded setting on a back of a farm, surrounded by little woodland. Ideal for a couples getaway! Highly recommended! Well equipped (although a hair dryer would have been lovely). Other than that cannot fault it. Simply beautiful.
