Your adventure will start in the sleepy Cornish hamlet of Warleggan, which has proudly twinned itself with Narnia, the fantasy land of CS Lewis's famous book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Located within 12 acres of rolling countryside, The Enchanted Wardrobe is nestled into a quiet corner of a pretty meadow, and boasts panoramic views of the green fields, moorland streams and historic woodlands of the gorgeous Glynn Valley. Here, you're free to spend the day any way you like: perhaps wake to the sound of birdsong, stretch your legs in the great outdoors, relax with a good book, cook supper on the fire-pit barbecue, watch the sun set from the warming bubbles of the hot tub, and fall asleep while admiring the twinkling stars in the vast skies above.
Inside, the luxury hut is anything but wardrobe-like. It's actually super-spacious and beautifully hand-crafted to the highest quality, with every detail carefully thought through. The simplicity of a timber floor, white-painted planked walls and a traditional barrel-ceiling set the scene, with floor-to-ceiling double glazed doors the stars of the show - throw them wide open to frame the incredible countryside vista that's the backdrop to your holiday. A bespoke fitted kitchen includes everything you'll need to cook anything from a scrummy breakfast to a family supper: oven with integrated microwave, two-ring hob, full-sized fridge, ceramic butler's sink and plenty of cupboard space, while the bijou dining area has a picture window that looks out over the amazing view. The friendly owners are on-site and will help with anything you need, even offering scrummy home-bred sausages and bacon for purchase, but will keep a low profile otherwise. With a comfy sofa and a warming wood-burner (logs provided), the hut is cosy all year round, and there's WiFi in case you feel the need to keep in touch with the outside world. Enjoy lazy lie-ins in the king-sized bed, and little ones will adore the triple bunk-beds that are stacked neatly at the opposite end of the hut. The piece de resistance is a stylish en suite shower-room with a wash-basin, flushing toilet and all the hot water you could possibly want. It's a kind of magic - we definitely think so.

A surprisingly spacious and comfortable place to spend a holiday, in a beautiful, peaceful location.
There are three units set in a sloping field overlooking a wooded valley, and everyone is able to enjoy their privacy.
We enjoyed being able to let our young children play on the field without worrying, and relaxing in such a quiet spot.
The hut never felt cramped and was equipped to a standard easily as good as any cottage or static we’ve stayed in before.
The hot tub, fire bowl and EV chargers were all facilities that we greatly appreciated.

Owners are very happy to provide support and information. Shephards hut is cosy and comfortable, it brings you back to the minimalist way of life with no TV, a log fire for heating and board games for entertainment.
Alongside a hot tub and great scenery. At night it was very peaceful and quiet, we were the only ones there for the 3 nights and 4 days.
The local was great for a roast.
Will be visiting again

Second time visiting and was just as good. We love it here. Open space, away from it all shepherds hut and wonderful hot tub. Although a bit of a drive to our favourite beaches it’s worth it. The owner’s are friendly, welcoming and on hand to sort anything if a problem. We’ll be back.

We loved our stay, it was full of comfort, warmth and relaxation and the hot tub just topped it off. It was beautiful waking to the sound of birds and the long views of beautiful scenery that surrounded us.
One thing that could be of benefit to people would be a clothes horse for the wet garments to be hung on outside after hot tub use.
Will definitely be booking again

Beautiful hut in a peaceful setting. We really felt like we were away from it all. Spent lots of time in the hot tub, which was so lovely. The kids loved the bunk beds and the facilities were great. Weather wasn’t brilliant but made the most of it. Was a little drive to our favourite beach - Constantine Bay but once there didn’t disappoint even with a downpour! Great break away and we will return.

November 2021
We very much enjoyed out stay at the Enchanted Wardrobe, it's in a good location and is peaceful with lovely views. We stayed in November and we were lovely and cosy - the woodburner is great and kept us lovely and warm. The hot tub was a good experience, though the cover is a bit heavy and needs two people to lift the cover off and on and carry it. The quality of the furnishings is good, though a couple of the blinds were grubby unfortunately. A torch is a good idea as there's no outside lighting until you get in and switch the outside light on, this is dim though and the hot tub area is a bit gloomy when dark, though some might say atmospheric! We slept well as the mattresses and bed linen were of good quality. The bathroom is tiny but the shower is good and powerful, there is no lock or handle on the door though... perhaps to be child-friendly? There is a combination oven/ microwave that we found complicated to use. We found the main door difficult to open, close and lock but we did mention it to the owner so hopefully they will fix this. It's a good location with access to both coasts and the villages nearby are very picturesque.

Wow! What fantastic accommodation. This property far exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely stunning and spacious. More than enough room for a family of four or five. This property has everything you need and is in a beautiful location surrounded by wildlife and farm animals. Our children loved the freedom this location allowed them to run around and safely play in the grounds of the farm. It is ideally located to escape the hustle and bustle of busier resorts but close enough to easily travel for days out anywhere in Cornwall. We cannot fault it and we have already decided we are returning next year! Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

Our second stay here did not disappoint. Waking up to the view across the moor, a dip in the hot tub and the splendid isolation of it all. The perfect place for a get away from it all break. High standard of accommodation, beautiful location and full on relaxation. We love it here.

Honestly could not fault this place, it had absolutely everything you could need. The place was very clean and felt very homey, plus the bed was super comfy. The hosts were great and helped us with any extras we needed, also left us a cream tea upon our arrival which was very much enjoyed. Location was great too, not too far from anything, we walked to the local pub the London Inn which was great and the owners were very welcoming. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank You.

If you want to try glamping go to the Enchanted Wardrobe or the other two huts. The area around Warleggan is beautiful and the hut site is excellent.
A very good hot tub is present to use.
The stars as night were wonderful.

What surprised me most about this Shepards Hut was the quality of the fixtures and fittings, and the quality of the services in general. From snuggly duvets to china mugs, hot showers to hot tubs, it's all top notch.
The whole experience gave you the adventure of the outdoors, without coming anywhere close to roughing it!

The Enchanted Wardrobe was perfect for our family break in Cornwall from start to finish! It is really difficult for families of 5 to find places that can accommodate us all so comfortably and in style - this place has got it so right! The setting was beautiful, there really is an amazing view from the hot tub, outdoor area and from every window, come rain or shine. The owner achieved a perfect balance of welcoming us and being available without any intrusion into our family time. The location is so peaceful, it is a drive to the beaches for day trips but it’s worth it...we loved returning to the countryside views in the hot tub that felt like we’d found a special and secret place to chill out!!
