Arriving at Old Orchard Cabin is like something out of a story book. With magnificent views across the gorgeous Coly Valley, its location is simply a dream. Inside is just as special, where you will be greeted with the warm, calming ambience of this bespoke cabin. Designed perfectly for two, the open-plan living space allows your days to flow with ease. The sweet kitchen area is complete with an induction hob, combination microwave oven and a fridge. Cook up a romantic meal for two and dine alfresco on the decking. On cooler evenings, light the wood-burner and snuggle up in the sumptuous king-size bed. Here, you are guaranteed a peaceful night's rest. Embrace long lazy mornings with breakfast in bed, watching the trees sway in the wind. The lovely shower-room is located at the rear of the hideaway, providing the perfect place to freshen up after a day of adventures.

Outdoors

Encompassed by lush green woodland, your secluded terrace is the definition of tranquillity. Providing views over an ancient orchard and rolling countryside hills, the outdoor seating area is the most idyllic breakfast spot. Free from distractions, now is the perfect time to get stuck into that new book or practice gratitude journaling, listening to the peaceful sound of birdsong. In the evenings, rustle up a delicious meal over the barbecue with some fresh local produce found in one of the nearby farm shops. Then, pour a glass of bubbles and soak in the heavenly wood-fired hot tub, as stars illuminate the sky above. It really doesn't get much more romantic than this! We wouldn't blame you for wanting to spend your days cosied up at Old Orchard Cabin, but if you did want to venture out there is plenty to do in pretty east Devon. Roam the rural countryside, head to the scenic coast, wander through charming fishing villages or take a trip to the infamous Jurassic Coast. From the cabin, you can stroll along the river to the Saxon town of Colyton with its lovely selection of local shops, cafes and a pub. A little further afield, is the town of Axminster, home to River Cottage HQ, where you can dine or book yourself onto a cookery course.

There is an abundance of pretty towns and fishing villages nearby. Including Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Bridport, Charmouth and Seatown, many of them great destinations for fossil hunters, and all of them lovely places to have a wander and enjoy the incredible scenery. The Dorset border is just a short distance away. Why not catch the electric tram along the beautiful Axe Valley to Seaton, gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast? With all of this to discover and more, you will want to return to this peaceful cabin time and time again.

Please note, Old Orchard Cabin is not suitable for children under 5, although babies up to six months old (non crawlers) at the time of the holiday are welcome.
