The large barbecue is perfect for cooking up a luxurious feast of smokey padron peppers, heavenly halloumi skewers and some fresh Cornish mackerel what a treat! You have the best of both worlds, your heavenly hideaway is situated in the most peaceful rural setting, but the coast is only a short drive away. Whether you are off to the trendy sailing town of Fowey or the charming fishing village of Polperro you'll find so much to explore nearby. In Charlestown you can marvel at the tall ships docked in the harbour or join a fishing trip from Looe and catch your evenings supper. The nearby town of Lostwithiel known locally as the 'antiques capital of Cornwall', is set on the river with a small selection of shops, places to eat and drink and the ancient Restormel Castle (English Heritage). Best viewed from the cafe at the Duchy Nursery whilst indulging in one of their delightful treats. The network of cycling trails at Lanhydrock and Cardinham Woods will appeal to cyclists of all abilities and whilst at Lanhydrock, take some time out to visit the historic house and gardens.
