The safari tent boasts a sociable open plan living with a large dining table that's perfect for family meals. Gather around after a day of adventures and share special stories, or why not pull out a board game and enjoy some time away from your screens. To the right of the hideaway sits the lovely day bed, scattered with gorgeous linen cushions. Here you will also find the wood-fired range, perfect for prepping delicious dinners and for keeping you cosy as the evening draws in. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need for your glamping getaway, with a fridge, single electric hob and kettle for that all important morning cuppa. To the rear of the safari tent you'll find the main bedroom with a king-size bed dressed in lovely linens, the twin bedroom, perfect for little ones, plus the shower room and cloakroom with an extra WC and wash basin. There's one other bed in the hideaway which younger guests will be fighting over. The cabin style double bed sits to the back of the living space and in front of the twin room and offers the cosiest nights sleep! There are even hot water bottles for all guests, so if the weather does take a turn, you can stay snug within your magical retreat.

On Fridays and Saturdays, you'll find the bustling weekly market in the Market Square, where you can pick up local delights to take back to your hideaway to enjoy. The Bull Inn is just the spot for a scrumptious, seasonal, local and organic breakfast, lunch or supper… the choice is yours, but the menu is not to be missed!

Dartmoor National Park and the South Hams countryside is right on your doorstep. Why not head to the picturesque village of Stoke Gabriel, where you will arrive at the edge of the River Dart. Give kayaking a go and then finish your day with a delicious bite to eat at The River Shack. For cyclists, head to Haldon Forest Park with its variety of cycling trails. If you are unable to bring your bikes with you, they are available to hire at Haldon Forest.
