Step Inside
As you step into this magical cabin, you will be amazed by its wonderful soft furnishings, opulent decor and magnificent artwork. Centre stage is a heavenly wooden king size four poster bed with luxurious soft linen for the perfect night's sleep. Situated at the end of the bed you will find the gorgeously unique copper roll top bath tub, soak in the bubbles with a glass of your favourite after a long day of exploring. The small kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need to rustle up a delicious meal for two, including a coffee maker for that all important morning coffee. Treat yourself to a snack or drink from the honesty bar, the perfect holiday treat. The spacious living area has a dining table, sofa, smart TV and feature fireplace. Natural light floods through the large windows and doors, making this hideaway bright and airy. An en-suite bathroom is positioned at the rear of the cabin with a stunning walk-in rainfall shower, basin and toilet. Every aspect of Hideaway Heath Hollow is truly special… once you arrive, you’ll never want to leave!
Outdoors
Large doors open onto your own secluded private terrace, its earthy features and woodland surroundings makes this the perfect retreat to nature. You are spoilt for choice for places to watch the world go by including; two snug hanging egg chairs, the cutest tipi daybed and a lovely set of table and chairs on the raised patio. Of course, the glorious hot tub is an excellent spot to enjoy a glass of bubbly, nestled in a sub-tropical paradise. Close your eyes and listen to the beautiful sounds of nature, the surrounding woods are frequently visited by all sorts of wildlife from a variety of birds to muntjac deer. Stargazing is the perfect activity to end your day after enjoying some toasted marshmallows over the firepit, these are memories that you will cherish forever.

Hideaway Heath Hollow is situated in a peaceful location by the Roman River Valley Nature Reserve. There is plenty to explore in the surrounding area, from walks in nature, beautiful historic buildings and fascinating museums. Less than a mile away is Colchester Zoo, some days in the distance you can even hear the lions roar. Why not take a blissful walk through nature along the Roman River Valley Nature Reserve or visit Abberton Reservoir, which is less than 2 miles away, to watch the birds fly and experience wonderful sunsets.
The historic town of Colchester is a short drive away and has an array of restaurants, bars and shops for those seeking a spot of retail therapy. You’ll also discover a number of museums and galleries sitting amongst numerous historic buildings and heritage sites. Visit Colchester’s Natural History Museum, Hollytrees Museum or Colchester Castle.
You may also want to take a short drive to Mersea Island and sample some of the finest seafood in the country. Mersea boasts golden sands and is a great place to enjoy a variety of fun watersports from paddle boarding to sailing. Mersea Island Vineyard is also very lovely. Other coastal towns include, Brightlingsea, Tollesbury and Wivenhoe. Additionally, Bourne Mill, Roman Circus Visitor Centre, St Botolph’s Priory and Paycocke’s House and Garden are great attractions to visit. With so many places to explore, you will want to visit this idyllic area again.
