Secluded in a magical woodland, beside an idyllic lake, you can rejuvenate the soul in this natural paradise. If you're looking for a romantic getaway with that special someone, you've found the perfect hideaway. Unwind in the steamy wood-fired hot tub with a glass of bubbles and gaze up to the star lit sky. The cabin is the main accommodation, but you also have access to the magnificent showman's wagon which is over a 100 years old during the summer months. The Wagon has been renovated to an excellent standard, with beautiful and original features and carvings still on display. Lazy Bear's unique charm allows you to escape to another world.

Step inside the cabin and you will be greeted with charismatic interiors, open-plan living and quality soft furnishings throughout. The exposed timber and quirky decor make this rustic haven truly unique. Plenty of natural light floods in through the large window and door and you'll love soaking up the Cheshire sunshine on the wonderful front porch. At night, snuggle up in the hand-crafted box style, king-sized bed with luxurious linens. The solar lamps and log burning stove will provide a warm glow, whatever the weather. After a day of sightseeing across this stunning part of the UK, treat yourself to a dip in the steamy, relaxing hot tub. Enjoy a romantic dinner around the rustic dining table or under the stars with alfresco dining outside on the veranda. Lazy Bear delivers the romantic dream, where you can create precious memories to cherish forever.

There is plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy during your stay. With rolling views of open fields from the back of the cabin and a woodland and lake view from the front, there are so many places to sit and watch the world go by. Listen to the birds sing as you take the first sip of your morning coffee on the veranda or stroll down to the idyllic lake and be surrounded by wildlife. The outdoor kitchen is located alongside the cabin and is equipped with a gas burner, pizza stone, industrial-sized gas barbecue, gas fridge and hot running water along with excellent quality cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery. Experience cooking your special meal over the fire pit using the Kadai cooker, with a glass of your favourite! The quirky and stylish bathroom is located 100 yds from the cabin. Finished to an excellent standard with a compost toilet, hot steamy shower, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. As Lazy bear is off- grid there is no wifi or electricity on-site, so just sit back and relax, soaking away evenings in the hot tub or star gazing around the fire pit.

Out and About

Situated in the magnificent Wirral Peninsula, this amazing hideaway is just a 20-minute drive from Chester, Liverpool and North Wales. Burton Marsh Wetlands on the Dee estuary are just minutes away, one of the UK's premier wetland birding locations. You could also head to the lovely Neston Market for excellent weekly produce, offering a range of great cheeses, fresh meat and fish, french patisserie and a couple of clothing stalls. Bring a bike or hire one locally to be delivered to your cabin and join The National Cycle route (The Wirral Way), which is just down the lane for a traffic free, flat route. And, for those who love gardens, Ness Botanic Gardens are only half a mile away and are utterly stunning. The gorgeous beaches of the Wirral Peninsula and heritage sites are also just a short drive away, including West Kirby Marine Lake where you can enjoy sailing, paddleboarding and many other water spots such as kayaking. For those who love a day trip to the Zoo, Chester Zoo is only 13 miles away and makes for a fantastic day out!

The whole site is off grid, making it a very eco-friendly retreat. With no Wi-Fi or electricity, Lazy Bear is perfect for a digital detox! Enjoy listening to Sunday morning love songs on the Roberts radio and simply sink into the peace and tranquillity surrounding your humble abode.

Please note, there are steps to the cabin and there are steps up to the cabin bed, the wagon is high off the ground and the outdoor grounds are sloping.

Availability, reservations and pricing: £160 - £240 per night

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.

A non-refundable booking fee of £40 is payable per booking.
