Airstream with hot tub in Cornwall: Fall in love with an icon in aluminium - shiny and irresistible, our gorgeous romantic retreat has been totally refurbished for 21st Century style and comfort and boasts glorious views over the Glynn Valley.
General
It's retro, it's super-shiny, it's the epitome of the American dream...we totally heart this unique retreat, our silver bullet of riveted-aluminium happiness. Talk about escaping the everyday - this is a luxury getaway with knobs on, a chance to experience a chilled-out break under the stars in glamourous comfort and style.
Shall we start with outside? The gleaming, bullet-shaped exterior is instantly recognisable as the iconic Airstream, the travel trailer that originated in 1930s America. Inside, it's been fully re-furbished for 21st Century convenience - by an interior designer, no less! - with the utmost attention to detail. Step in and you will be bowled over by the delightfulness of the décor - from the attractive kitchen complete with induction hob, combination microwave, fridge and all the equipment any masterchef could desire, to the sitting-area with warming wood-burner and TV. At the far end is the comfortable (and romantically cosy) bedroom, with its custom curved king-size bed, along with the super-stylish shower-room.
The Cornish Airstream sits handsomely in its very own patio and garden area, where you can dine al fresco, read a book, have a snooze on the sun loungers or relax in the bubbling hot tub until your heart's content, all while enjoying the stunning views over the woodland and fields of the Glynn Valley. You are more than welcome to explore the owners' fabulous neighbouring gardens too - speaking of which, the friendly owners live on-site and are more than happy to advise on the best places to visit etc, but also respect your privacy and will very much leave you to enjoy your holiday.
Out and About
With the main trainline nearby and easy access to the A38, this is a brilliant base for exploring the charming county of Cornwall. For the active, don your walking boots and head to rugged Bodmin Moor or explore Cardinham Woods or the infamous Camel Trail - whether by foot or on two wheels. For a dose of sea air, lovely Looe, trendy Fowey and picturesque Charlestown are within striking distance and well worth a visit. There's even a golf course just around the corner (Horbourne) and, during the summer months, live entertainment can be found at the 'open air' Moorland Sterts Theatre.
